Like a lot of people in Southern California, this artist known by the nickname Paja is originally from the Arizona/Colorado (Colorado Plateau) area before moving west. It didn't take long for him to become mesmerized with the ocean, beach-related causes, and surfing. While his art doesn't necessarily show waves or beach scenes, it does show his Native-American influence, which do relate to Mother Earth. A strong commitment to the Surfrider Foundation is also a natural path for him, so he wanted to contribute to our designs. We are welcoming him with open arms.
